Five badge-supported endings
Roblox badge data now confirms five ending routes in Keep the Door Locked:
- ENDING 1 — survive 10 days.
- ENDING 2 — find the golden skeleton.
- ENDING 3 — accept the strange grandma’s key.
- ENDING 4 — trust a man with a katana while something is already watching.
- ENDING 5 — trigger the Blood Moon Ending introduced August 21, 2026. Public award counts rose quickly once the badge went live, suggesting the trigger is reachable inside a normal ten-day run when conditions align.
Badges name the destinations; they do not publish every spawn rule. Treat each ending as a separate research goal and avoid stacking secrets into one chaotic night.
Approximate public award context (changes over time): Ending 1 is common, Ending 3 is uncommon, Ending 2 is rare, Ending 4 is the rarest of the original four, and Ending 5 is ramping up fast. Use those labels for expectations, not as drop-rate math.
Ending 1: survive 10 days
The baseline clear. Keep each night controlled, protect sanity, and postpone optional hunts. Full pacing lives in Survive 10 Days. Pair it with Sanity Guide so Losing It does not erase a long run.
Ending 1 is also the best training ground for every later route. Once a “normal” night feels familiar, unusual visitors and room states are easier to spot.
Ending 2: golden skeleton
Finding a golden skeleton is the confirmed broad goal. Exact location, day, and probability remain incompletely documented. Approach it as a controlled discovery: one search focus, intact survival discipline, careful notes. Details: Golden Skeleton Ending.
Ending 3: strange grandma key
Accepting a strange key from a strange grandma is the evidence-backed decision. Camera checks still matter; do not open for every lookalike. Guide: Grandma Key Ending. Track confirmation in the Ending Tracker.
Ending 4: katana trust route
Added around August 7, 2026. Badge text: trust a man with his katana, but something was already standing there watching and waiting to run. The route couples a visitor trust choice with immediate room vigilance. Full method: Katana Ending.
Ending 5: Blood Moon Ending
The Blood Moon Ending badge was added on August 21, 2026 and is the newest official route. Its short badge text — Blood Moon Ending — only confirms the destination, so the exact in-game trigger remains partially documented. The badge award count climbed into the thousands within the first day, which strongly suggests the trigger is reachable from a normal Story run rather than a hidden post-credits path.
Until the official trigger is fully written down, treat the route as: survive long enough to be eligible, watch the night for a red-tinted visual change, and play the new beat rather than skipping it. The dedicated walkthrough is on the Blood Moon Ending page.
The new route also has implication for Sanity: a blood-red room state and a new ending beat will pull your attention away from the cameras, so a clean Sanity Guide habit still matters more than ever.
Decision tree before you start a run
-
Need a dependable completion? Choose Ending 1.
-
Hunting an environmental secret? Choose Ending 2.
-
Testing a narrative visitor key? Choose Ending 3.
-
Testing an armed visitor plus room presence? Choose Ending 4.
-
An immediate danger appears? Drop the route and survive first.
-
Reached a red-tinted night? Ending 5 is a candidate — but only if survival is already under control.
Optional systems — Dream Room, Kindness, Rat Buster, Juan, dog easter egg, Blood Money — are not automatic ending prerequisites. See Hidden Badges and Blood Money.

Promo codes on the Codes hub can fund early cash needs, but they do not unlock endings. Patient observation still decides which badge you earn.
How rarity should change your plan
Ending 1 is the training wheels ending in the best sense: it teaches the night loop under long pressure. Ending 3 sits in a middle rarity band where dedicated visitor-focused runs are worth the time. Ending 2 and Ending 4 punish multi-goal chaos; if you chase both in one night, you will not know which clue mattered when the badge fails to appear.
Use award counts only as pacing advice. A rare badge is not proof that a YouTube thumbnail found the only spawn. Prefer one clean variable, written notes, and a later confirmation pass over copying an unverified day number.
The Blood Moon Ending is the newest route. Public counts rose into the thousands within a day of the badge going live, which is a much faster climb than Ending 4 ever showed. The implication is that Ending 5 is reachable from a clean Story run rather than a one-in-a-thousand spawn. Do not pay for “Ending 5 generators” or external services — the badge is awarded by the official server when the trigger is met in-game.
Linking endings to threat pages
Door Breaker and Shadow Figure can interrupt any ending route. Keep Survive the Door Breaker and Banish the Shadow Figure bookmarked even on secret nights. Window and toilet stages can also ruin a grandma or katana attempt if you ignore escalation. The Anomalies Hub remains relevant for every ending, not only for survival.
When Ending 4’s “already watching” beat appears, cross-check Room Hider and Shadow Figure before inventing a fifth enemy type. Accurate labels make your next research run faster.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about the hotel room, visitors, and endings.
How many endings are confirmed?
Five: survive 10 days, find the golden skeleton, accept the strange grandma key, trust the katana visitor while watching the room, and trigger the Blood Moon Ending.
Which ending is rarest?
Ending 4 currently shows the lowest public award count among the five ending badges, with Ending 2 also rare compared with Ending 1.
Are the endings mutually exclusive?
Badge evidence confirms each route exists but does not fully define whether they block each other. Research them one at a time.
Does the Dream Room count as an ending?
No. The Dream Room badge confirms entry into that state; it is not one of the five ENDING badges.
Should I redeem codes before an ending run?
You can redeem between sessions for cash or tokens, but codes do not unlock endings and should not interrupt an active threat.
